Where: Mostly outside of the Bed and Breakfast
What: Narcissa comes back for her robe
Narcissa walked out of the Bed and Breakfast with a frown on her face. She had merely gone up to fetch something she had forgotten in Lucius' room and had been greeted by that bimbo - naked! Closing the door behind her, she leaned up against the wall outside to see what she would do. She really wanted her robe back.
Simon stomped along the pavement, growling a little under his breath about the way people were treating him at The Hog's Head. So what he was several inches shorter than mosdt full grown wizards? If he had his wand or even his knife, those ignorant fools would have been so much mush. Seeing Lucius' wife longuing outside of the B&B, he slowed his walk down trying to hide his impotent anger.
Narcissa looked around nonchalently to make it seem like she was just lounging, but in truth, she just wanted her robe back. It was her favorite and felt ever so delightful and she had nothing to walk around the house in. Recoginizing one of Lucius' employees at the B & B, she made eye contact with him and nodded in greeting.
He checked a sigh and gave a short bow to her, opening the door. He thought for a moment to come up with a suitably neutral topic before giving that up. "I had thought you were moved out," he said.
Narcissa glanced at the entrance. "Yes, I am moved out."
He tilted his head to the side. "Is there something you want Ma'am?" Simon asked her.
"Actually..." Maybe this fellow could go up and get it for her. Or something. Because she wasn't in the mood to see that idiot naked again. "I actually need my robe from Lucius' room. But I went up there, and ran into his secretary, naked."
Simon shook his head slowly, feeling somewhat sympathetic towards her. The bubbly little bed warmer of his employer's was the kind of person that could drive a priest to commit gleeful murder. He looked at her with his lifeless looking eyes, half-shrugging. "I could possibly get the robe for you. Tell me what it looks like."
"It's black, and silk, and small. It's about my size." She gestured at herself. "It's not hard to miss compared to Lucius' robe, but it should be in the bathroom." She gave him a grateful look.
He nodded once and went upstairs into Lucius' room. There was a moment of silence, then a loud shierk followed by running feet. The naked receptionist streaked by, screaming about snakes and into Lucius' office. The door was slammed shut behind her and there was the sound of botls being locked into place. Simon came down at a more sedated pace and held out a robe.
"Is this one yours?"
Narcissa took it and examined it. "Yes it is, thank you!" She smirked at the receptionist's reaction. "What'd you say to her?"
Simon looked at her blankly, then shrugged. "I didn't say a word."
With a surprised look, Narcissa folded up her robe. "Oh."
"I just let my pet loose in the room," he said, smirking. "Obviously the girl thought it would actually bite her or something."
She laughed. "Ah. You have a pet snake I assume?"
He nodded, still smirking. "Yes, I do. A harmless one, but it does look a little like its poisonious cousin."
"Well at least you know how to scare her." Narcissa nodded at him. "Thanks for getting me back my robe. I missed it dearly."
"You are welcome, Ma'am. Is there anything else you may need?"
"You wouldn't happen to know where Lucius is would you?"
Simon thought about it for a moment then shook his head. "No, I don't know where he went to. I'm sorry."
Narcissa waved it off. "That's alright. Anyways, you look like you don't get out much, would you like a drink? My treat."
He shook his head again. "No thank you. I don't drink very much,"
"Alright." She gave him a gracious smile and headed in the opposite direction. Narcissa was in the mood for a drink herself.
"Have a nice evening, Ma'am," he said after her then went to retrieve his snake.
